Distribuition of "Kmoney" cupons
Aiming to provide support to households’ livelihood amid rising inflation rate, the city will distribute “Kmoney” coupons to all citizens as described below. Please check the following contents and use the coupons within the validity period.
Distribution
- Eligibility：Citizens who were registered as Kani city resident on January 1st , 2026
- Amount：6,000yen/person（one booklet with 6 coupons of 1,000yen）
- Quantity：01 (one) booklet
- Coupons validity：until September 30th, 2026
Usage
- “Kmoney” is a “local currency” that can be used to pay for services and products provided by a city affiliated establishment.
- Affiliated establishments can be checked in the attached 「Kmoneyご利用の手引き」, or through Chamber of Commerce (Kani Shoukou Kaigisho) HP
- Furthermore, affiliated establishments can be identified by “Kmoney” related stickers and posters affixed in their entrance.
Attention
- No change will be given in case the payment was made with coupons
- It is prohibited to sell, exchange or reuse coupons
- Coupons will become invalid after the date mentioned in item #4 above
- Coupons cannot be used for the following purposes:
- Purchase of gift cards, other coupons, book tokens, ticked booklets, stamps etc.
- Purchase of digital currency
- Payment of public services and insurance
- Some establishments may have products and services that cannot be paid with “Kmoney”
- The city is not responsible for coupon theft, damage or loss
